Re: The Boleyn pub closing
Nathans is shutting in a weeks time.

the Boleyn is listed as an ACV so it has to stay as a pub or nothing.

Re: The Boleyn pub closing
Fucking Gold, Sullivan & Brady!

They are responsible for this. They should've made sure the Boleyn was relocated to Stratford when we moved and paid for it as well.

I'll tell you who;

NO CUNT. That's who.

Re: The Boleyn pub closing
A couple of my mates went Nathan’s today as it shuts next week, said there was a queue outside. I was late so just met them in East Ham workies earlier. Absolutely dead in there. Must not be worth paying for the electric and the barmaids to open the place, literally 6 of us and another couple in the whole gaff.
The whole area is fucked though such a shame as it was great growing up there.
Couldn’t wait to get back to sunny Essex

Re: The Boleyn pub closing
But as you know don, it is being repopulated with white people now.

The people that are buying flats there will need somewhere to drink as well.

Re: The Boleyn pub closing
When I lived in Balsall Heath in Birmingham, there were lots of Muslims there.

But the pubs stayed open because the area's Irish community, who must've moved out 15-20 years ago, kept coming back to the pubs.

Even though they horrible pubs, with no real ale

Re: The Boleyn pub closing
There must be room to move it brick by brick to the London Stadium, and slot it between the pitch and the stands...

Re: The Boleyn pub closing
I wonder how many locals who moved out of the area 20 years ago worried about the fate of these local institutions back then?

Bought today by remarkable pub company. It lives on.
